Rizzo leaves Tuesday's game with leg injury

Iowa Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo left Tuesday afternoon's contest against the Omaha Storm Chasers in the sixth inningafter he slid into a fence while chasing a pop foul. The Cubs top prospect walked off the field under his own power.Cubs president Theo Epstein said Rizzo will see an orthopedist after being examined by trainers for an apparent ankleleg injury.The injury comes at an unfortunate time for the hot-hitting Rizzo, who entered Tuesday's game with back-to-back two-home run games. He is hitting .367 with 22 home runs and 57 RBIs on the year, and his .753 slugging percentage and 1.182 OPS are tops in the minor leagues.The Storm Chasers would go on to defeat the Cubs, 9-4. Shortstop Luis Valbuena hit his eighth home run of the season in the loss, while Geovany Soto (1-for-4)added a double in his second rehab start with AAA Iowa.
