Michael Jordan's wallet is getting a lot thicker.

On Friday, Jordan won the lawsuit against Safeway and Dominick's for using the basketball star's likeness without his approval in a 2009 advertisement. The owner of the extinct grocery store chain and its parent company will pay Jordan $8.9 million.
