Sports Business Minute: Snapchat on the rise, NFL cashes in

The NFL is a changed league -- not just the now 33-yard extra point -- but also because of Snapchat. According to CSN Sports Business Insider, Rick Horrow, the rise of such vertically integrated platforms is huge for the organization. The more access NFL allows Snapchat to get on the field, the more rights fees they rack up. Super Bowl story, anyone?

It's always a numbers game, except this time football fans will also get their share (through snaps of course). 

So, are you ready for some football? The Bears are kicking it off this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, no less!
