Stalberg enjoying his summer vacation

Coming off his best NHL season with 22 goals and 21 assists, Viktor Stalberg could continue working hard to increase his stats or reward himself with a nice summer vacation.

Based on what he told ChicagoBlackhawks.com, he's done a bit of both.

Stalberg said he's spent a majority of his time off at home in Sweden outside of a two-week trip with some friends to Mallorca, Spain.

He's also spent plenty of time with fellow Swede Niklas Hjalmarsson as the two went to Ukraine for a couple of nights to watch Sweden vs. England in the European Championship game. Hjalmarsson also attended his housewarming party.

Stalberg also said he's been doing the same strength program he's done the last couple of years, but "I haven't started skating too much yet."

When he does begin to consistently start skating again, he says "I'll be working on my shot and getting more accurate."

Based on his personal Twitter account, we also know Stalberg spent some time on the golf course and took out some anger on a wedge:

Not to happy about how my 52 degree wedge has been performing lately... @sstalberg8 twitter.comVStalbergstat Viktor Stalberg (@VStalberg) June 5, 2012
