There was nothing good about Antti Niemi's very brief Thursday-night return to the United Center.
The former Blackhawks goalie and 2010 Stanley Cup champion was back in town with his new team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and things did not go well.
First, he apparently forgot the layout of his old home arena, somewhat comically tripping heading out of the locker room and onto the ice.

Then the game started and the Blackhawks pelted their former goaltender with scores.
The rude welcome back stacked up like this: four goals before the 10-minute mark of the first period. The first three of them were scored within 73 seconds of each other, and all four were scored in a two-minute, 55-second span.
Is every game this season gonna be like this? Because this is pretty fun!— Blackhawks Talk (@NBCSBlackhawks) October 6, 2017

Then Niemi got the hook with his team down 4-0.
It was an awesome start to the campaign for the Blackhawks. Not so much for the guy who helped them to that 2010 Stanley Cup.
