White Sox give CSN's Inspirational Athlete a thrill

Back in February, at the 2012 Comcast SportsNet Sports Awards, Tywaun Crain was honored as the March of Dimes Inspirational Athlete.

Crain, from Lawndale, has cerebral palsy but enjoys and excels at multiple sports. He competes in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair softball and track and field.

At the awards ceremony, Crain was supposed to meet Alexei Ramirez, who was the White Sox award recipient. Unfortunately, Ramirez was unable to attend the event.

But Tuesday, Crain received a thrill when he was on the field for batting practice and got to meet the shortstop. He took home a signed baseball and bat and took a picture with Ramirez by the White Sox dugout.
