WNBA Draft: Cheyenne Parker among three drafted by Sky

Check out the newest members of the Chicago Sky, who were drafted in the 2015 WNBA Draft on Thursday.

Round 1, pick No. 5: Cheyenne Parker, C, Middle Tennessee State

Parker shined last season before her year was cut short as a result of a failed drug test. In 22 games, the 6-foot-4 center averaged 17.8 points per game, 10.6 rebounds and 3.8 blocks. Parker led the league in offensive rebounds and ranked sixth in blocks.

Round 2, pick No. 17: Betnijah Laney, F/G, Rutgers

Laney finished her collegiate career No. 6 all-time in rebounding and 14th-leading scorer in Rutgers history. Last season, she averaged a double-double with 15.8 PPG and 10.7 rebounds.

Round 2, pick No. 22: Aleighsa Welch, F, South Carolina

Welch was a huge part of South Carolina's success this season. She helped lead the program to their first SEC Tournament title and first Final Four appearance. In her four-year career, Welch averaged 10.5 PPG with 6.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
