Humber hit again?

White Sox Philip Humber keeps getting into scary situations. First it was a line drive from Kosuke Fukudome in a game with Cleveland a month ago. Then Humber was hit again with another line drive by Kansas City's Jeff Francoeur to the right hip in Friday night's game against. (Chicago Tribune)

Sharp aiming for quick comeback

Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp hopes to be in the lineup for the season-opener of the 2011-2012 season. Sharp had an emergency appendectomy surgery Monday. Sharp said he is pushing for the first game and his recovery should only be three to four weeks. Meanwhile Patrick Kane is good to go with his wrist. (Chicago Tribune)

Cubs Carlos Zambrano was in a list among the best hitting pitchers that was created in honor of Pirates Ross Ohlendorf's three run homer against the Dogers last night. Zambrano is in MLB's top 10 hitting pitchers of the last 15 years.(Hardball Talk)
