FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) TCU quarterback Casey Pachall will miss at least one game after injuring his left forearm in a win over Southeastern Louisiana.

TCU won 38-17 on Saturday but coach Gary Patterson said that Pachall's injury was "probably not good." He didn't offer anything more specific besides ruling Pachall out for No. 24 TCU's visit to Texas Tech for its Big 12 opener on Thursday night.

Pachall was injured at the end of an 8-yard run late in the second quarter when the senior used his left arm to brace for a fall as he was being hit by two defenders.

Trevone Boykin, who replaced Pachall last year after his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving, came in Saturday with the score tied 14-all and led three straight scoring drives.
