The 6'4'' 211-pound redshirt sophomore QB is currently flying to the head of the flock in the running for the 2013 Heisman. The Honolulu, HI native has gone 76/134 for 1358 yards so far this season, logging a 56.7 completion percentage. He has 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions after five games in 2013.
Manziel, who won the Heisman as a freshman last year, looks to beat the odds and accomplish the impressive feat of racking up two Heisman awards in two seasons. Manziel has recorded 1489 yards on 100 completions. He is currently completing 71.4 percent of his passes. The Kerrville, TX native has racked up 14 touchdowns and has been intercepted four times so far this season.
The Louisville quarterback has put up big numbers so far, completing 104 of 145 attempts for 1562 yards so far this season. The junior Miami, FL native has scored 16 touchdowns and had just one interception.
The Georgia senior QB has led the Bulldogs to a 4-1 record so far this season despite encountering extremely difficult competition from the start. After suffering a tough loss to Clemson 38-35, Murray was able to bounce back and lead the Bulldogs to four straight wins over South Carolina, North Texas, LSU and Tennessee. Murray has completed 98 of 151 attempts for 1534 yards so far this season. He has racked up 14 touchdowns and been intercepted three times.
Tajh Boyd, the senior QB for Clemson, has led the Tigers to a 5-0 start to the season. The team's most notable win came in its first game of the season against Georgia, which Clemson won 38-35. Boyd went for 270 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions on that game. The Hampton, VA native has gone for 1449 total yards this season, 14 touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Florida State redshirt freshman had a Heisman-caliber performance against Maryland in Week 5. Winston led Florida State to a 63-0 victory over the Terrapins. The Bessemer, AL native went for 393 yards and five touchdowns in this game. He is currently 90 for 123 attempts for 1441 yards this season, a 73.2 completion percentage. He has recorded 17 touchdowns and had two interceptions.
The senior QB of the Alabama Crimson Tide has led his team to impressive wins over Virginia Tech, Texas A&M and Ole Miss so far this season. The Crimson Tide is now 5-0 behind McCarron's 1048 yards, 71.4 completion percentage and ten touchdowns.
The junior QB for Ohio State has led the team to a 6-0 record so far this season. Most recently, the Buckeyes beat Northwestern in Evanston, 40-30. Miller has gone for 609 yards so far this season, scoring six touchdowns and recording two interceptions.
The senior QB for LSU has led the team to a 5-1 record so far this season, the team's only loss coming to Georgia in a 44-41 thriller. Mettenberger has recorded 1738 yards so far this season and a completion percentage of 68.2. The Watkinsville, GA native has also recorded 15 touchdowns and two interceptions.
