After starting the season 21-0-3, an NHL record, the Chicago Blackhawks went on to win the President's Trophy, finishing with 77 points and a record 36-7-5. Chicago defeated the Boston Bruins in six games, the first Stanley Cup Final between two Original Six teams since 1979. Down 2-1 with less than two minutes to play, Bryan Bickell scored the equalizer, allowing for Dave Bolland to capture the lead just 17 seconds later. Chicago won it's second Stanley Cup in the last four years.
