NEW YORK (AP) Integrity was the pacesetting winner of the $95,000 Elusive Quality Stakes on Thursday, the opening day feature at Belmont Park.

The original 11-horse field dwindled to four runners when the seven-furlong race was switched from the turf to the main track.

Integrity, a 4-year-old trained by Chad Brown and ridden by Javier Castellano, rolled a pair of threes. It was his third straight victory, and he won by three lengths.

Integrity paid $3.70 and $2.20. Tenango was second, returning $2.70.

Cease was third.

There was no show wagering.

The time was 1:22.90 on the fast track.
