Impact players, coaches in the BCS Championship
Tim Tebow, quarterback
The Florida junior may not have won a second straight Heisman Trophy but he was still a nearly unstoppable offensive force. He was 174-for-268 for 2,515 yards. He threw 28 touchdowns while tossing just two interceptions. He was also the team's third leading rusher with 564 yards and he led the Gators in rushing touchdowns with 12.
Sam Bradford, quarterback
Mr. Heisman put up some guady numbers. The Oklahoma sophomore was 302-for-442 for 4,464 yards. He threw 48 touchdowns and only tossed six interceptions.
Percy Harvin, all-purpose
While Tim Tebow gets most of the publicity, another Gator junior is just as dangerous for opposing defenses. He rushed for 538 yards and nine touchdowns. He also hauled in 35 receptions for seven more touchdowns.
Chris Brown, running back
The junior led the Oklahoma rushing attack with 1,110 yards and 20 touchdowns. He'll likely see even more playing time with fellow 1,000-yard rusher DeMarco Murray sidelined by injury.
Brandon Spikes, linebacker
The Florida junior led the Gators in tackles with 87, more than 7 per game. He also added 4 interceptions and 2 sacks.
Travis Lewis, linebacker
The Oklahoma freshman led all Sooners in tackles with 137. He also chipped in four interceptions and 3.5 sacks and was second on the team in tackles for loss with 12.
Chris Rainey, running back
The Florida freshman exploded onto the national scene by leading the Gators in rushing with 655 yards on 83 carries for four touchdowns.
Juaquin Iglesias, wide receiver
The Oklahoma senior led all Sooners in receptions (69) and receiving yards (1092). He was second on the team in receiving score with 10.
Ahmad Black, safety
The Florida sophomore racked up 54 tackles for an average of 4.15 per game. He also led the Gators with six interceptions, two of which he converted into touchdowns.
Jermaine Gresham, tight end
The junior was second on Oklahoma in receptions with 58 for 888 yards. He led all players with 12 receiving touchdowns.
Urban Meyer, head coach
Urban Meyer has coached the Gators to a 43-9 record and a national title in four years at Florida. Before that he was 22-2 and Utah.
Bob Stoops, head coach
Bob Stoops has compiled an amazing 109-23 record and a national championship in his 10 years at Oklahoma. He is 4-5 in bowl games, though, and has lost his last two.
