Derrick Rose suffers another knee injury
On Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, the Chicago Bulls announced that guard Derrick Rose torn a meniscus in his right knee. Rose underwent successful surgery Friday morning and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.

Earl Lloyd passes away at the age of 86

Lloyd, the first black player in NBA history, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015. He was 86. Lloyd made his NBA debut in 1950 for the Washington Capitals, just before fellow black players Sweetwater Clifton and Chuck Cooper played their first games.
