Bryz Sick, Bob in, Bacashihua up

CSNPhilly's Tim Panaccio is reporting that Ilya Bryzgalov is sick and will be a no-go for tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. A disappointing turn of events, Bryzgalov may have been able to use tonight to build on his 1-0 loss of a shutout against the Islanders on Tuesday. Bryzgalov is 4-0-0 with a 1.55 GAA lifetime against the Leafs.

Sergei Bobrovsky will be in net for the Orange & Black.

Jason Bacashihua has been recalled on an emergency basis from Adirondack should Bryz be unable to sit on the bench tonight.

We (I) had previously speculated that the decision to recall Bacashihua instead of AHL All-Star Michael Leighton might have been for specific hockey reasons, but as our own Matt P. pointed out (as well as commenter @andymckechnie below), Bacashihua may not have to go through the same waiver-clearing process as Leighton (though there's also some question as to whether that applies in case of a medical emergency).
In either case, you'll forgive me for being more than a little preoccupied with Michael Leighton. It's been a rough couple years.
