DeSean Jackson's highs and lows with Eagles
Sept. 15, 2008 -- The Premature Celebration
DeSean Jackson "fumbled" what would have been his first career TD catch when he dropped the ball prior to crossing the goal line in a premature TD celebration. Brian Westbrook eventually punched in a one-yard TD, but the Eagles lost to the Cowboys, 41-37.
Jan. 4, 2009 -- Happy Returns
Jackson posted punt returns of 62 and 30 yards in a wild-card round win at Minnesota. His 109 punt return yards were the most ever in an Eagles postseason game.
Jan. 18, 2009 -- The Catch
DeSean Jackson's 62-yard TD grab from Donovan McNabb gave the Eagles a short-lived, 25-24 lead in the fourth quarter in the NFC Championship Game against the Cardinals.
Oct. 26, 2009 -- Ground and Air
Jackson notched a 67-yard rushing touchdown on the Eagles’ opening drive and also caught a 57-yard touchdown pass in a 27-17 win over the Redskins. Jackson celebrated his end around touchdown with a leap into the Redskins crowd and his touchdown catch was Donovan McNabb’s 200th scoring toss.
Oct. 17, 2010 -- The Hit
Jackson and Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson collided violently early in the second quarter, leaving Jackson lying flat and motionless on the Lincoln Financial Field turf before eventually getting escorted off the field with a concussion. Jackson did not return to game action for three weeks.
Nov. 28, 2010 -- Down and Out
Jackson finished with just two receptions for 26 yards in the 31-26 loss to the Bears despite being targeted five times.
Dec. 12, 2010 -- The 210-Yard Game
Jackson amassed a career-high 210 yards receiving on just four catches at Dallas, including a 91-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown grab that put the Eagles ahead for good in a 30-27 win.
Dec. 19, 2010 -- Miracle at the New Meadowlands
The Eagles scored four touchdowns in the final 7:28 at the New Meadowlands to erase a fourth-quarter 21-point deficit and beat the Giants, 38-31. The most memorable score was Jackson’s game-winning punt return for a touchdown as time expired. NFL.com readers voted Jackson’s walk-off punt return the greatest play of all time in NFL.com’s second annual edition of bracketology last year.
Nov. 20, 2011 -- Set It Up
Jackson set up one TD with a 51-yard punt return and set up the game-winning touchdown with a 10-yard catch-and-run on 3rd and 4 late in the fourth quarter in the Eagles’ upset of the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants.
Nov. 13, 2011 -- Take a Seat
Andy Reid benched DeSean Jackson for a game against the Arizona Cardinals after missing a team meeting the day before.
Nov. 27, 2011 -- Two Drops and You're Out
Jackson spent the entire fourth quarter of a 38-20 loss to the Patriots on the bench after dropping what should have been a four-yard TD pass in the second quarter and a second potential touchdown on a deep pass from Vince Young in the third quarter.
Dec. 15, 2013 -- An Offensive Loss
Jackson grabbed a career-high 10 passes for 195 yards, but by the end of the game, cameras had caught Jackson shouting at coaches and the Eagles had managed to lose, 48-30, to a 4-8-1 Vikings squad missing Adrian Peterson.
