Dannell Ellerbe inactive for NFC Championship Game

Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe is inactive for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Ellerbe (hamstring) was the only Eagles' player to come into the week listed as questionable. He missed Wednesday's practice and was limited Thursday and Friday.

With Ellerbe out, it's likely veteran Najee Goode will be the Eagles' MIKE linebacker in their base package.

Joining him on the Eagles' inactive list: Wendell Smallwood, Marcus Johnson, Elijah Qualls, Steven Means, Sidney Jones and Will Beatty.

The only difference from last week is Ellerbe is out and Destiny Vaeao is active.

The Vikings will have WR Adam Thielen (lower back), S Andrew Sendejo (concussion) and CB Mackensie Alexander (rib, illness). As expected, all three are active after coming into the weekend listed as questionable. Thielen will play despite reportedly suffering small back fractures.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are without third DT Shamar Stephen (knee/ankle). He missed practice all week and was ruled out Friday.

Here are the Vikings' inactives: QB Kyle Sloter, QB Teddy Bridgewater, RB Mack Brown, G Danny Isidora, C Cornelius Edison, DE Tashawn Bower and DT Shamar Stephen.

Vaeao is active after being inactive last week. Still, expect Fletcher Cox to play a lot in this game.

With Beatty down, the Eagles have Chance Warmack and Isaac Seumalo as their backup linemen. Warmack is the top backup guard and Seumalo is the top backup tackle.
