• Wentz's four TD passes marked the first four-TD game by an Eagles quarterback since Nick Foles had seven against the Raiders in 2013 and it was the first one at home since Donovan McNabb had four against the Cards on Thanksgiving Day in 2008.
• Wentz became the sixth quarterback in Eagles history to complete 70 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and 300 yards. McNabb did it four times, Norm Snead twice and Michael Vick, Randall Cunningham and Nick Foles once each.
• Wentz had one 50-yard TD pass to a wide receiver in his first 20 career games. He had two against the Cards.
• Wentz had three touchdown passes on third down all of 2016. He had three Sunday.
• Wentz has already converted more 3rd-and-10s (or longer) this year than all of last year. In 2016, Wentz had seven passing first downs on 3rd-and-10, and he already has eight this year.
• Wentz on third down this year has completed 37 of 52 passes (71.2 percent) for 574 yards with six touchdowns, one interception and a 137.8 passer rating. He's first in the NFL on third down in passing yards, touchdowns, first downs and passer rating and third in accuracy (behind Alex Smith and Josh McCown).
• Wentz already has more 50-yard completions in 177 pass attempts this year (four) than all of last year in 607 pass attempts (three).
• With his seventh career 300-yard game, Wentz is tied for second in most 300-yard games by a quarterback in his first 21 career starts. Kurt Warner had 13. Marc Bulger, Daunte Culpepper, Andrew Luck and Mark Rypien also had seven.
• With his third straight win, Wentz improved his career record to 11-10 and became only the seventh quarterback in Eagles history with a winning record (minimum of 20 starts). He joins Donovan McNabb (91-52-1, .635), Nick Foles (16-10, .615), Randall Cunningham (64-47-1, .576), Rodney Peete (16-12, .571), Norm Van Brocklin (19-16-1, .542) and Ron Jaworski (69-68-1, .504).
And some stats on big plays …
• Nelson Agholor's 72-yard TD catch and Torrey Smith's 59-yarder were the first pair of 50-yard TD catches the Eagles have had in the same game in 11 years, since Correll Buckhalter had a 55-yarder and Donte Stallworth an 84-yarder from Donovan McNabb in a game in 2006 against the Redskins. They were the first WR duo with 50-yard TDs since 2004, when Todd Pinkston and Terrell Owens each had 59-yarders from McNabb in a game at Dallas.
• Agholor is the only player in the NFL so far this year with two TD catches of 50 or more yards.
• With three career 50-yard TD catches, Agholor becomes only the fifth Eagle with three TD receptions of 50 yards or more before his 25th birthday. DeSean Jackson had eight and Ben Hawkins five, and Harold Jackson and Jeremy Maclin also had three.
• Kenjon Barner's 76-yard punt return Sunday in his second game back with the Eagles is the longest punt return in franchise history that didn't go for a touchdown. The previous long was Brian Westbrook's 64-yarder against the Seahawks at the Linc in 2007.
A few LeGarrette Blount stats …
• Blount became only the fifth player in NFL history in his 30s to record three straight games with 10 or more carries with an average of 5.3 yards per carry. The others are Hall of Famer John Henry Johnson of the Steelers in 1962 and 1964, Garrison Hearst of the 49ers in 2001, Fred Taylor of the Jaguars in 2007 and Fred Jackson of the Bills in 2011.
• Blount's 5.8 average is the third-highest ever after five games by a running back in his 30s (with a minimum of 50 carries). The only higher averages were recorded by James Brooks of the Bengals in 1989 and one-time Eagles second-round pick Charlie Garner of the 49ers in 2002.
• That 5.8 figure is also the second-highest ever by an Eagle after five games (minimum 50 carries) behind Brian Westbrook's slighter better 5.8 in 2007 (Blount is 5.77, Westbrook 5.79). Shady was also at 5.8 in 2011 (5.75).
How about some third-down stats!
• The Eagles have converted 50 percent of their third downs four times already this year. Last year they only converted 50 percent of their third downs once.
• The Eagles are only the fourth team in the last 27 years (as far back as Pro Football Reference third-down stats are available) with four games over 50 percent five weeks into the season. The others are the 2013 Broncos and 2014 Cowboys and Chiefs.
• The Eagles' 53.4 percent conversion rate so far this year is 15th-best by any team after five games since 1991. The only other time the Eagles were over 50 percent five games into the season was 1994, when they were converting at a 51.2 percent rate.
• On 3rd-and-10 or longer, the Eagles are 11 for 26 for an NFL-best 42.3 percent. They are actually more successful converting 3rd-and-10 or longer than 23 of the 31 other teams on 3rd-and-ANYTHING.
• The Eagles have already converted more 3rd-and-10's this year (11) than all of last year (9), when they were 9 for 71 (12.7 percent).
And some miscellaneous stuff I looked up instead of sleeping …
• With Marcus Johnson and Corey Clement both recording their first career reception against the Cards, this game marked the first time since at least 1950 — as far back as game-by-game records are available — that two undrafted Eagles had their first career reception in the same game.
• The Eagles have held the ball over 35 minutes in each of their last three games. The last time they did that was Week 3-5 of the 1990 season against the Rams, Colts and Vikings.
• The Eagles have already had possession for 35 minutes or more four times this year and nine times in 21 games under Doug Pederson. The longest they ever held the ball under Chip Kelly was 34:02 against the Saints in 2015. This is the first time they've ever had the ball for 35 minutes or more four times the first five weeks of the season.
• The Eagles' time-of-possession average of 35:32 is their highest after five games since 1994 (37:01) and the 11th-highest by any NFL team after five weeks since the league started tracking these things in 1983.
• Zach Ertz has caught five or more passes in six straight games going back to last year. That's the longest streak by an Eagle of games with five or more receptions since Irving Fryar had nine straight games back in 1996.
• Eagles have held three straight teams to fewer than 60 rushing yards. Last time that happened was 1994.
• The Eagles have more than twice as many rushing yards this year (694) as they've allowed (314). This is only the second time that's been true after five games since 1955. It also happened in 1992.
• With three straight games with 120 or more rushing yards gained and 65 or fewer rushing yards allowed, the Eagles are one game shy of the NFL record of four such games (shared by two teams in the 1940s, one team in the 1960s and the 1997 49ers).
