Hey Jagr Scored Last Night (video)

We took a night off from Flyers preseason action last night, despite it being Jaromir Jagr's debut in the color orange. It was hard not to continually peek at the scores (even harder given that I get text updates with every one), and see that Jags factored heavily into the Flyers' 3-1 win over the Red Wings in Detroit. With moves like Jagr, it's no surprise… (you kinda need to see the video below, which isn't of last night's goal or assist, but… you need to see it. Update: Jagr goal video added too)

James van Riemsdyk continued his tear, skating with Jagr and Brayden Schenn, a line that Tim Panaccio reports Lavvy liked quite a bit. Matt Read also potted one, making another statement in an already impressive preseason that could land him a spot with the team. Meanwhile, a hit from behind on Brendan Smith earned Mike Testwuide a major and saw him sent off for the night. Will he be the second Flyer to get the Shanny video treatment?

Timmy P has much more on that and the rest of the game, another impressive showing by now-backup Sergei Bobrovsky.

And now, Moves Like Jagr. First the goal, then the song...
