Times are hard for baseball fans in Philadelphia. So when Reid Brignac hits a walkoff home run and Cole Hamels is simply filthy on the hill, we've got to savor those moments. For they may not happen again for a long time.
Although with the way Cole has been throwing, I think we can expect more of the same from the Phillies hundred million dollar arm.

From Jim Salisbury's game story from the park:
Hamels struck out a season-high 11 and he walked just one. He has racked up 16 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings spread over his last three starts to lower his ERA to 3.07 in 10 starts.
“He’s been real impressive,” Sandberg said. “Real good stuff. His changeup has been outstanding and he’s mixing in curveballs. Just the way he’s firing in the zone to both sides of the plate, you can tell he’s on a big roll.”
Nice to have something positive to watch once again. Now to figure out how to get the lowly Padres on the Phils schedule more...
