NBC Sports Philadelphia sets new single day streaming record across all NBC Sports regional networks

PHILADELPHIA- (April 4, 2018) – Boosted by the NBC Sports Philadelphia trifecta, which saw the Flyers, Sixers, and Phillies playing at the same time on Tuesday, April 3, the network set a new single day streaming record across all NBC Sports Regional Networks.  More than 3.4 million minutes were streamed on 56,000 unique devices, across the Flyers, Phillies and 76ers games. Also, 15,000 devices streamed multiple games last night.

The previous single day streaming record (3.1 million minutes), was set by NBC Sports Bay Area on April 10, 2016, when the Warriors tied the Bulls’ single-season win record. 

The Flyers and Phillies also set individual streaming records last night:

  • NBC Sports Philadelphia’s streaming only coverage of the Phillies vs. Mets delivered 2 million live minutes and 36,000 unique devices, the most-streamed Phillies game of all time for the network. The game beat the previous all-time high from Opening Day 2018 by 99% on minutes streamed and 128% on unique devices.
  • Streaming coverage of the Flyers game also set a streaming record with nearly 15,000 unique devices, beating the previous high from March 3rd, 2018 by 13%.
  • Streaming coverage of the 76ers game ranked fourth of all time for the team, with nearly 19,000 unique devices.
