After two more wins last week, the Villanova Wildcats remained No. 2 in the AP Top 25, still behind No. 1 Gonzaga and ahead of No. 3 Kansas.

Despite sticking at No. 2 on the Top 25, Villanova was the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament preliminary rankings released on Saturday (see story).

In the poll, Gonzaga received 60 of 65 first-place votes, while Villanova picked up the other five.

This past week, 'Nova first beat Georgetown, 75-64, at home and then went on the road to beat No. 24 Xavier, 73-57. The loss to Villanova knocked Xavier out of the Top 25.

While the top three spots on the poll remained the same, there was plenty of movement after. Baylor jumped from 6 to 4 and Arizona jumped from 9 to 5.

The Wildcats are on the road to face DePaul on Monday night and then on the road to face Seton Hall on Saturday.
