Geoff Collins continued to build his coaching staff Thursday, with the addition of four coaches.

Dave Patenaude, Jim Panagos, Ryan Horton and Jordan Barber will join Temple's staff — along with strength and conditioning coach David Feeley — as Collins' first five hires.

Entering his 27th season of collegiate coaching, Patenaude will serve as the Owls' offensive coordinator after five years as Coastal Carolina's OC. Patenaude takes over a Temple offense that averaged 32.4 points per game, but is losing senior quarterback Phillip Walker.

Panagos — who has spent time with Pittsburgh, Rutgers and the Minnesota Vikings — will take over as Owls' defensive line coach.

Horton and Barber will work alongside Feeley as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.

Horton comes to Temple after a two-year stint as the director of strength and conditioning at Elon University, while Barber served as an intern for Maryland last season.
