Villanova lost in stunning fashion at Rutgers Thursday night, blowing a late lead that was in double-digits with four minutes left. Rutgers staged a huge comeback on the strength of some of a string of three's, winning 77-76. Jonathan Mitchell was fouled on a three pointer with less than a second on the clock, then hit the foul shot to win it for the Scarlet Knights. Reuben Frank covered the game for CSNPhilly, and his full recap is here. This line in particular won't be easy for Nova fans:
Rutgers scored 54 points in the game’s first 36 minutes and 23 points in the final four minutes.
