One More and We Get to Play the Bobcats: Sixers-Bulls in Chicago

Share

Tough three games here for the Sixers, with back-to-back losses to the
Pacers on the road and the Heat at home preceding a visit to the Windy
City and the NBA-best Chicago Bulls. Could be worse, though, since
chances are the Bulls will be without MVP point guard Derrick Rose—not
enough to make the Bulls pushovers, exactly (they beat the Heat without
Rose under a strong performance from backup point guard John Lucas III),
but enough so that you have to think that the Sixers have a shot. And
hey, we beat these guys once already! Remember that? How great was that?

8:00 tip from the United Center. The Sixers will have to get by without
do-everything-except-play-minutes forward Andres Nocioni, who was bought
out by The Sixers today. "I feel like something died inside every one
of us here in the locker room," forward Elton Brand did not say of
Nocioni's departure. "We're just gonna have to put it out of our minds
and soldier on, somehow, someway." Missing you already, Noc.
