Penn State moves down in latest AP poll despite win over Pitt

Despite earning a 33-14 win over Pitt on Saturday, Penn State has moved down in the latest AP poll.

After jumping into the top five at No. 4 last week, the Nittany Lions moved down to No. 5 in Sunday's poll. Oklahoma pushed Penn State out of the top four by jumping from No. 5 to No. 2 after beating then-No. 2 Ohio State on the road, 31-16.

The Buckeyes fell down to No. 8 following the upset loss.

Alabama remained at No. 1, while Clemson stayed at No. 3 with its win over then-No. 13 Auburn on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions will look to move to 3-0 on the season when they host Georgia State on Sept. 16. Penn State will begin conference play the following week with a road matchup against Iowa.
