CHICAGO — After missing the opener, Eagles tight end Trey Burton will make his 2016 debut on Monday night at Soldier Field against the Bears.

Burton (calf) was a game-time decision in Week 1 and was held out. With Zach Ertz (ribs) out for at least this game against the Bears, Burton’s role should be important in the Eagles’ offense.

Joining Ertz among the seven inactive players: CB Leodis McKelvin (hamstring), WR Bryce Treggs, OL Josh Andrews, OL Dillon Gordon, OL Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Isaac Seumalo.

With Ertz out, Brent Celek will start at tight end. With McKelvin out, Ron Brooks will start at corner. Rookie Jalen Mills will be on the field as an outside corner when the team is in the nickel package.

Treggs, whom the Eagles claimed from San Francisco after final cuts, practiced with the team for the first time last week, but is inactive again. Seumalo and Vaitai, 2016 draft picks, are inactive again too.

Safety Terrence Brooks, whom the team claimed from the Ravens at final cuts, is active for the first time as an Eagle.

For the Bears, starting corner Kyle Fuller (knee), who was questionable heading into the game, is out. He'll be replaced by second-year pro Jacoby Glenn.

Joining Fuller on the Bears’ list of inactives: DB Cre’Von LeBlanc, DB Deon Bush, LB Nick Kwiatkoski, OL Eric Kush, WR Cameron Meredith and DL Cornelius Washington.
