Larry Bowa: Jimmy Rollins ‘right there' for HOF

Will Jimmy Rollins end up in the Hall of Fame once he calls it a career?

"In my opinion, he's right there for the Hall of Fame," Phillies bench coach Larry Bowa said.

"If he goes three or four [more years], there is no doubt in my mind he goes in the Hall of Fame."

Rollins needs one home run to reach 200 for his career and 68 RBIs for 900 in his career. He hit .252 with six homers, 59 RBIs, 36 doubles, two triples and 22 stolen bases last season.

Per CSNPhilly.com's Corey Seidman, Rollins is second all-time in home runs, third in doubles, third in triples and fourth in stolen bases among players who played 90 percent of their games at shortstop.

The 35-year-old has more doubles, triples, homers and steals than recent Hall of Fame inductee Barry Larkin.

Maybe the Hall of Fame isn't that far out of the question. Only time will tell.
