The Phillies on Wednesday agreed to terms with first-round pick Adam Haseley.

The Phils have now reached agreements with seven of their top 10 draft picks.

Haseley was selected eighth overall out of the University of Virginia. He hit .390 this past season with twice as many walks as strikeouts, and drew similar comparisons to last year's first-round outfielder, Mickey Moniak. Haseley could begin his pro career at Williamsport, the Phillies' Class A short-season affiliate.

They want both Haseley and Moniak to be able to play center field every day so it makes sense to split them up. Moniak is currently at Class A Lakewood.

With Haseley now in the fold, the Phils have come to terms with seven of their top 10 selections from this year's draft. The other six signed are RHP Spencer Howard (2nd round, 45th overall), 3B/SS Jake Scheiner (4th round, 113th overall), SS Nick Maton (7th round, 203rd overall), LHP Jordany Mezquita (8th round, 233rd overall), 3B/1B Jack Zoellner (9th round, 263rd overall) and RHP Conor Brogdon (10th round, 293rd overall).
