Sixers-Clippers: Inside the box score

Here are a few numbers and trends that stand out from the Sixers’ 94-83 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center:

• The Clippers have won four straight games against the Sixers for the first time since March 25, 1975 to Oct. 31, 1975.

• The Sixers held a team under 100 points for the third time all season. Meanwhile, the Clippers are 2-5 when scoring under 100 points.

• The Sixers shot 35.9 percent from the field on Monday and are 0-4 in games in which they shoot under 40 percent. Over the last two seasons, the Clippers are 36-1 when holding the opposition under 40 percent shooting.

• In going 3 for 21 from three-point range, the Sixers are shooting just 18.8 percent from long range over the last three games.

• Evan Turner led the Sixers with 25 points. Turner has scored 20 or more points in 16 games this season after doing it just 17 times last season.

• Chris Paul had his 18th double-double with 25 points and 13 assists against the Sixers. Since joining the team, the Clippers are 26-3 in games in which Paul gets 20-plus points and 10-plus assists.

• Spencer Hawes missed his two three-point shots, ending his consecutive games streak of hitting at least one three-pointer at 20 games. Hawes finished the game with two points and four rebounds. It is the second time he failed to score at least 10 points in 20 games this season.
