Sure, it was a bit chilly this weekend in Philadelphia. And yes, John Lannan was pitching on Saturday night. But there's no excuse for Sunday's day game in the sunshine with Cole Hamels pitching not being a sellout.

According to the box scores, both Saturday and Sunday's attendance was right at 90.4% of Citizens Bank Park's regular season capacity, or right in the 39,460 fan range.

The days of the sellout streak are long over.

So now that we've got that out of the way the Phillies are now offering buy one ticket, get one free on tickets $38 or less for Tuesday's game against the Mets to those on their mailing list. It also happens to be Hatfield Phillies Franks Dollar Dog Night so you can really get all the bang for your buck and Wednesday morning indigestion your little heart desires.

I suppose the more diehard among us should be thankful at the opportunity to get tickets more easily. Cliff Lee pitches tomorrow and you can get a buy one get one free deal. That's not too shabby.

UPDATE: You can also get some $10 tickets for tonight's game according to the Phillies Facebook.
