The Soul on Saturday night opened their home portion of the 2017 schedule with a 69-34 win over the Baltimore Brigade at the Wells Fargo Center.

Ryan McDaniel led the Soul with eight receptions for 123 yards and five touchdowns, catching all five of quarterback Dan Raudabaugh's TDs. Raudabaugh threw for 207 yards and completed 17 of 28 passes.

The Soul jumped out to an early 21-0 lead and never looked back. At halftime, the Soul led 35-21 and built their lead to 69-28 before Baltimore added a garbage score.

"I am very pleased with our performance tonight but there is still room for improvement," Soul head coach Clint Dolezel said. "Cleveland is also coming off of a win this week, so we need to make sure we are focused and ready for four full quarters of football."

With the win, the Soul improved to 3-0 while Baltimore, in its first season, fell to 1-2.

The Soul will head to Cleveland next Saturday for an evening tilt with the Gladiators.
