Gerald Henderson out Sixers' next 2 games with left hip soreness

The Sixers will be without two-guard Gerald Henderson for their next two games. Henderson will sit Friday night against the Knicks and Saturday vs. the Pistons with left hip soreness.

He'll be reevaluated Sunday to determine his availability for Monday's game against the Bucks.

Henderson has been one of the most consistent Sixers this season, averaging 9.9 points on 44 percent shooting from the field, 37 percent from three and 85 percent from the line.

He made three threes against the Warriors and Wizards but has otherwise struggled in his last four games, going 13 for 39 (33 percent) from the field.

Without Henderson, Nik Stauskas should play more than his average of 26.8 minutes. It will also likely mean more playing time this weekend for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Justin Anderson.
