Allen Iverson posts his love for Cowboys on Instagram

Sit down if you're reading this, Philadelphia.

You will see images that may be disturbing.

This city will forever and always love Allen Iverson. But when "The Answer" started posting on his Instagram account Monday night, that love probably flickered a bit.

Here's what the Sixers' legend admitted ...

If Philly didn't know about Iverson's Cowboys fandom, it does now.

A.I. has made it known before, though, that he loves Dallas. This isn't really news.

Just watch this video from inside his house.

Merry Christmas!!!

Still, the pictures have to sting. Iverson in a Cowboys jersey feels wrong. You probably feel like this right now.

But let's be real: Iverson isn't the first Philadelphia athlete to like teams outside the city.

Sometimes we forget these athletes aren't from here like the fans.

Nolan Patrick shows his wizardry with through-the-legs pass for goal

Nolan Patrick shows his wizardry with through-the-legs pass for goal

We've heard so much about Nolan Patrick's vision and passing ability.

Now we know why.

Patrick on Tuesday delivered the first jaw-dropping highlight of his NHL career when he slickly dropped a pass through his legs for a trailing Dale Weise, who finished the play with the Flyers' fourth second-period goal of the night (see observations).

You can watch the play in the video above … and just, wow.

Patrick, only 19 years old, does it so naturally and without even looking — at all — in Weise's direction.

Some Flyers were seen on the bench smiling in amazement of the teenager.

And it probably won't be the only time.

Joel Embiid explains the reasoning behind his wild new hairstyle

Joel Embiid explains the reasoning behind his wild new hairstyle

Joel Embiid said plenty with his words on Tuesday afternoon when he called the decision to have a minutes restriction in the teens to begin the season "f-----g BS."

He also sent a message with his fresh new look.

Jojo showed up to practice on the eve of the Sixers' season with a new hairstyle -- some cornrows remeniscent of the last great Sixer to captivate the city of Philadelphia.

No, not Andrew Bynum.

We're talking about Allen Iverson.

"I had the old hairstyle for a long time so I just wanted something new," Embiid said. "I know my mom won't be happy but it's only for a couple of days."

Robert Covington saw a resemblance, "Everybody was shocked. Told him he’s going to be the new AI.”

Was he inspired by somebody? Anybody?

"I just wanted something new, something crazy. I never do anything crazy, so..."

"I think it looks OK," Embiid said, always his toughest critic.
