Ben Simmons is the new favorite to win NBA Rookie of the Year.

Three strong showings in the preseason were enough to catapult Simmons past Lonzo Ball and Dennis Smith, who were previously Bovada's top two favorites.

Simmons is now listed at 3/2 to win the award. Here's the new top five:

Simmons (3/2)
Lonzo Ball (7/2)
Dennis Smith (5/1)
Markelle Fultz (9/1)
Jayson Tatum (9/1)

Through three preseason games, Simmons has averaged 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 block in just 23.6 minutes. He's looked under control as the Sixers' floor general, though his shooting has been poor. He's 0 for 3 from three and 7 for 18 (39 percent) from the line.

Simmons is also listed as 80/1 to win MVP. Joel Embiid is 40/1.

Brett Brown is tied for the 11th-shortest odds to win Coach of the Year (20/1).
