Carrot Top throws out first pitch in Clearwater, Phillies players confused

Here's another reminder that it's still only March.

The big news out of today's Phillies spring training game against the Yankees was that Odubel Herrera was scratched from the game for precautionary reasons due to cramps.

The strangest news is that famed prop comic Carrot Top threw out the first pitch.

Most everyone on hand was confused, including Charlie Manuel.

We're looking forward to April 3 when Jeremy Hellickson will actually throw out the first pitch.

Update: This isn't Carrot Top's first time at a Philadelphia sporting event. Here he is with Jon Dorenbos and Donnie Jones at the Linc before a 2014 game. Because ... of course, he was.
