Eagles playoff tickets sell out in minutes but there's still hope

The Eagles are hosting their first playoff game in four years, and if the huge interest in ticket sales are any indication, fans are excited.

Playoff tickets went on sale this morning and were gone in a matter of minutes. On the secondary market, tickets to the Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints game are currently selling for nearly $100 less — for the cheapest ticket — than the cheapest ticket to the Eagles Divisional round game the following weekend.

If you’re bummed about not being able to get tickets to the game, we’ve got hope for you.

On Friday, Jan. 12, NBC Sports Philadelphia and Xfinity will host an Authentic Fan Eagles Playoff Party at XFINITY Live! beginning at 5 p.m.

The first 500 fans to enter will receive a free Miller Lite and everyone who arrives before the drawing will have the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to the Eagles game the next day.

In addition, fans will have the chance to win a signed Carson Wentz jersey and meet former Eagles WR Jason Avant. There will be a live television broadcast stating at 6 p.m. on NBC Sports Philadelphia and the game day menu at Xfinity Live will be in place to get something good to eat.

Parking is free so come show off your Eagles pride, enjoy some drinks and have your chance to win free tickets to see the Eagles take on a team from the NFC South.
