Maybe Joel Embiid just needs some attention, okay?
The Sixers big man would rather be playing basketball, but since he has been sidelined for the season, it appears as if he's trying to entertain himself any other way he can.
Sometimes he's jumping in front of the camera during Sixers Pregame Live with Jessica Camerato to plug the game telecast and other times he's joining the broadcast following the game to plug his homie Dario Saric for Rookie of the Year.
But when he's not in front of the camera at Sixers games, the camera appears to find him wherever he goes. Case in point: TMZ.
TMZ Sports caught up with JoJo on the current west coast trip and asked him about his old crush on Rihanna.

There's not a lot to the response inititially, but then Joel seemingly needs to waste some time so he shouts out his love for the pop star.
"Rihanna, I love you. Hit me up. I love you," Embiid says.
There was much made of Joel's All-Star voting ploy to get a date with his celebrity crush, which many people believed to be Rihanna, but that fact was never confirmed. Plenty of speculation arose elsewhere.
Whether Rihanna was that crush or not, JoJo still obviously has much love for her. Which is fine because Brett Brown respects his taste.
