The New York Giants were defeated by a final score of 51-17 on Sunday by a pretty impressive Los Angeles Rams team.
The Eagles on the other hand put up 51 points of their own. One team is the bottom of the barrel in the league while the other is looking like a Super Bowl favorite. Seems like as good a time as any to enjoy the sad state of a hated rival.
And then there's New York head coach Ben McAdoo. Eagles fans probably want to keep this as far from their minds as possible right now, but there was a time when McAdoo was rumored to be the favorite to replace Chip Kelly.
Thank the lord that did not happen.
Perhaps the lowest of moments came when McAdoo was asked about what he told his team at halftime yesterday. Just watch:
It's like an Eli Manning Face in word form.
The New York papers are calling for McAdoo's job this morning. The Giants are pretty much the opposite of the Eagles this season. They're 1-7 and what could go wrong for them pretty much has.
