Sixers to play on new court design, wear special City Edition jerseys with old school bell

The Sixers announced on Wednesday morning that they'll be unveiling their fourth edition jersey in the near future to be worn on seven tribute nights with a "Spirit of 76" theme to them.

It will include a bell logo on both the jerseys and at center court of the Wells Fargo Center.

"'Spirit of 76,' introduces a new 'bell' logo, inspired by imagery from Philadelphia's 1976 bicentennial celebration, a special center-court logo signed by 76ers full season ticket members, collectible tickets and membership boxes for season ticket members," the team said in a statement.

The team will also unveil three new sculptures at their Camden training facility to go along with the campaign.

“We are excited to announce the ‘Spirit of 76’ campaign as it provides another incredible opportunity to celebrate the proud tradition of the 76ers with the city of Philadelphia, our fans, players and alumni,” said Philadelphia 76ers Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Chris Heck. “The ‘Spirit of 76’ campaign honors the legendary icons who paved the way for this organization, while recognizing the passion and intensity of our fans.”

The City Edition jerseys will join the Association Edition (home), Icon Edition (road), and Statement Edition jerseys this season.

Eagles release amazing documentary covering entire 2017 Super Bowl season

The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Just wanted to remind any of you who may have forgotten. I know it's not likely, but you never know. There are some weirdos in the world.

And not only did the Eagles win the Super Bowl, they just put together a 45-minute documentary with inside access to the team that only they could provide.

It's titled, "All We Got. All We Need.: 2017 Philadelphia Eagles Season," and you can watch it right now for free on YouTube.

From Doug Pederson speaking to his players at OTAs in the spring — "what are you willing to give up starting today so that we can hold that trophy high come February of next year" — to Doug after Brandon Graham's strip of Tom Brady — "we got the ball! we got the ball! we got the ball!" — this covers all of those amazing moments.

"Eagles fans everywhere, this is for you!" Merrill Reese exclaimed after the final whistle.

Our first glimpse of Brian Dawkins’ Hall of Fame bust

It won’t be long until Eagles fans turn Canton, Ohio, into a sea of green this summer.

That’s when Eagles all-time great and fan favorite Brian Dawkins will be officially enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Class of 2018 also includes Terrell Owens, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss and Brian Urlacher.

Here’s our first look at Dawkins’ bust, which will eventually find a permanent home in Canton.

The 2018 class will be enshrined on Aug. 4 in Canton at 7 p.m. Dawkins previously announced that his teammate Troy Vincent will present him for the Hall of Fame.

While players don’t go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of a specific team, Dawkins spent the majority of his career with the Eagles and is arguably the most popular Eagle of all time after making seven of his nine Pro Bowl appearances with the Birds. He now works in the Eagles’ scouting department.

It won’t be long before the finished bust is presented to the football world.
