'Trust the Process' chants as Markelle Fultz throws out first-pitch at Phillies

Markelle Fultz, the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, threw out the first pitch prior to today's Phillies game against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park.

Fultz delivered a pretty good pitch to the Phanatic.

He got a little sampling of what a Philly fan welcome is really all about. He spoke briefly before the game and was asked about hearing "Trust the Process" chants at the ball park.

"I'm not surprised," he said. "Anywhere you go in Philly, you're going to hear that. Embiid started that and you have to trust the process. It's something I say, too. You won't be surprised. You can go anywhere. You can be in McDonald's. You can be walking down the street and you're going to hear that. "

Markelle has been making the rounds in Philadelphia over the last week or so. He made a guest appearance at the Sixers basketball camp last week and says he's "real healthy" and gauranteed the Sixers will make the playoffs this season.

Fultz reiterated on Monday that he's feeling good.

"I have been working out lately, getting strength back, doing rehab and everything like that. My ankle is doing a lot better. I'll be fine."

The Sixers and Phillies both shared a bunch of photos from the day.
