Villanova fans will be able to welcome home their national champions for a second time in three years later today at their Main Line campus.

Following Nova's dominating defeat of the Michigan Wolverine's on Monday night in San Antonio, Jay Wright and his team will return to campus around 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

"To keep the celebration going," Villanova President Rev. Peter M. Donohue said via release. "I invite you to join me in welcoming Coach Wright and the team home to Villanova this evening at Jake Nevin Field House. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the team will arrive around 6:15 p.m. All are welcome."

And details of the parade to take place this Thursday in center city Philadelphia were also released.

"There will also be a parade to celebrate the team and the national championship on Thursday, April 5, in Philadelphia. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 20th and Market Streets and will end at Dilworth Park. The University will be closed on Thursday for the parade festivities."

More details will be shared later today but expect a similar ceremony to take place in front of City Hall as it did in 2016. Hopefully Donte DiVincenzo can find himself a Mummer's costume to wear.

The parade will add to an already packed day for Philly sports fans with the Phillies' home opener scheduled for 3:05 pm down Broad Street at Citizens Bank Park as well as the Flyers hosting the Carolina Hurricanes at 7:05 pm at the Wells Fargo Center later in the evening.
