Watch: Phillies fans welcome back Chase Utley again

Remember Chase Utley's return last season?

Man, that was fun — and so Chase Utley.

Topping that night would be a hell of a task. If you recall, "The Man" smacked a grand slam and a solo shot to the tune of not one, but two curtain calls … as a visiting player.

Guess Philly has a thing for this guy?

Well, No. 26 was back at Citizens Bank Park on Monday night for his second-ever trip to his old stomping grounds as a visiting player.

And, as you'd expect, the reception was a sight to see.

Appreciation permeated the ballpark as the longtime fan favorite received a hearty welcome with another standing ovation, to no surprise.

"For the amount of years that I played here, to suit up in this locker room is just different," Utley said in the visiting clubhouse (see story). "You have to keep the focus if you're going to win some ballgames. There are some guys over on that team that I know and some new faces that I'm not familiar with. But we're here to win."

Maybe Utley has some more fun in store for this four-game series.

We'll just have to wait and watch. Something tells me Phillies fans won't mind doing that.

For now, enjoy the first of the fun with the video above.
