The Flyers lost to the Penguins last night in incredibly awful and ugly fashion. So Erik Gustafsson's bizarre and goat-like scream while playing the puck behind the net seemingly captured the collective feeling of Flyers fans watching the game all across the Delaware Valley. I mean, we assume it was Gus making the noise. Even JJ on the telecast was dumbfounded by where it came from.

Not familiar with the Wilhelm scream? Wiki describes it thusly:

The Wilhelm scream is a film and television stock sound effect that has been used in more than 200 movies, beginning in 1951 for the film Distant Drums.[1] The scream is often used when someone is shot, falls from a great height, or is thrown from an explosion.

You probably know it best from Star Wars or Indiana Jones. But here's a helpful compilation for you to waste time while not doing any work on a Friday.
