Video: Jrue Holiday Spreads the Holly Jolly Like He Spreads the Rock

Share

Here's our video from Jrue Holiday's event on Wednesday night where he invited a busload of kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City who were affected by Hurricane Sandy down to Philadelphia for a viewing of "A Charlie Brown's Christmas." The Sixers' point guard also put on his Santa hat and dished out some surprise presents for the kids.

As you can see, there were smiles all around as the kids were thrilled to meet the Sixers star point guard. They loved taking the microphone and were naturals in front of the camera. Some Philly athletes could probably learn a thing or two.

How awesome is the kid who says he wants an iPad for Christmas, then changes his mind to a Kindle within seconds, then makes sure Santa knows exactly which model by specifying a Kindle FIRE.

One girl who didn't make the cut was asked who her favorite player on the Sixers is... her answer? The cheerleaders.

Kids!

It was a great event overall and Jrue showed he can spread the holiday cheer off the court like he can the basketball on it.
