Premier League Summer Transfers
The 22-year old Kenyan left Celtic for Southampton this summer on a £14 million transfer fee. Wanyama had a prolific season for Celtic as the Hoops finished 1st in the Scottish Premier League and had an impressive Champions league campaign.
The Ivorian striker joined Swansea from Vitesse on a €15 million fee. The 24-year old scored 31 goals in 30 games for the Dutch side last season. Bony joins a long list of Ivorian strikers that have played in the premier league. The most recent success was Chelsea’s Didier Drogba.
The Brazilian center midfielder broke a club record with his purchase fee of £17 million (a Spurs club record) to be brought to Tottenham Hotspur from Corinthians. The 24-year old also features for Brazil in International play scoring 5 goals in 17 appearances in his career.
The 30-year old goalkeeper will be in net for Fulham this upcoming campaign after transferring from Roma. The 6’ 6’’ Dutchman recorded 56 saves in 19 appearances for Roma last season as well as appearing in 10 games on International duty for Netherlands.
The English defender joins recently promoted Cardiff City for a club-record fee of £9 million. The 21-year old was with Tottenham since he joined their youth academy in 2007.
The Brazilian midfielder joined Manchester City after eight years with FC Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukranian side sold the 28-year old to City for £30 million.
The 22-year old German will be playing in blue this season after completing a move to Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen. The Buundesliga side sold Schürrle for £18 million. The winger scored 18 goals in 65 appearances for Leverkusen.
After an three amazing seasons where the 25-year old striker put in 63 goals in 95 appearances for Celtic he joins mid-table Norwich City as they attempt to booster their attack force.
The 27-year old striker is the only big splash that Newcastle United in the summer transfer window. The frenchman scored 16 goals for Olymique Lyonnais last season and was brought to St. James Park for a fee of £8.7 million.
The 29-year old striker decided to follow Coach Roberto Martínez from Wigan Athletic to Everton this summer. Koné fresh off a season where he scored 11 goals in 33 appearances, and won the FA Cup for Wigan.
The 20-year old Dane joins Cardiff City after a ridiculously good season with F.C. Copenhagen. The striker recorded 18 goals in 32 appearances for the club which earned him a £8 million transfer fee paid by Cardiff City – which broke the Danish League record transfer paid for one player.
The 23-year old striker moves from a Championship side in Peterborough United to a newly promoted Premier League side in Crystal Palace. The Englishman who spent his youth career with Arsenal was acquired for £8.5 million after a season where he scored 13 goals in 29 appearances.
The Ivorian defender has been in the premier league for his entire career. The 32-year old joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Manchester City after spending five years in Manchester.
The dutch left-back joins Stoke City on a £3 million fee from PSV Eindhoven. The 24-year old will make his premier league debut in the fall for the Potters.
The 26-year old American is headed back to England. The striker transferred from Alkmaar Zaanstreek to Sunderland this summer after scoring 38 goals for the Dutch side. Altidore previously has played for premier-league side Hull City in 2009 and 2010 where he only recorded one goal in 28 appearances.
The English winger left his birthplace and only club he’s ever trained and played for in Birmingham City this summer for Norwich City. The 19-year old has been training with Birmingham since he was eight years old but a £3.2 million fee sent him to the Canaries.
The 27-year old winger will make his premier league debut for Manchester City this year after transferring from Sevilla. Navas served 10 years for Sevilla before a £15 million lured him to England. The Spaniard recorded 23 goals and 60 assists in 280 appearances with Sevilla.
The Belgian goalkeeper will be switching Premier league sides this summer moving from Sunderland to Liverpool. The 6’ 4’’ 25-year old registered 90 appearances in three years with the Black Cats and has been a well-tested Premier League keeper.
After spending a year on loan at West Ham United, Liverpool decided to sell the 6’ 3’’ striker to the Hammers for £18 million. Carroll had 7 goals in 24 games for West Ham. Liverpool originally bought the striker for £35 million in 2011 from Newcastle United.

The Dutch striker has moved to Norwich City from Sporting Lisbon for €10 million after the 24-year old had two prolific year in the Portuguese league, scoring 30 goals for the Lions.
The 28-year old Spaniard transfers to Tottenham from Valencia where the striker for a club-record fee of £26 million.
The Spaniard left the club he had been with since the age of 11 to go to Liverpool this summer. Sevilla lost the midfielder/winger for a £6.8 million offer to join the Reds. The 20-year old only played seven games for Sevilla in nine years registering four goals.
The 24-year old defender made a switch from Olympique Lyonnais to Southampton this summer for an estimated £8.5 million. Although Lovren was born in Bosnia, the defender plays internationally for Croatia.
The 20-year old center back was born in the Ivory Coast but plays for Denmark in International play. The Danish league is where the defenseman got his playing career started with FC Nordsjælland. Okore was the most expensive signing for Aston Villa this summer.
