WHAT WENT WRONG: Tyler Wilson suffered through his worst start of his major league career, allowing eight runs on three Seattle home runs in three-plus innings. Wilson allowed nine hits and left trailing 8-1. The Orioles never recovered.

WHAT WENT RIGHT: For a moment, the Orioles looked as if they had a chance to come back.
They began the sixth trailing 9-2, and scored two more and loaded the bases, but Adam Jones popped out.
HARDY BREAKS SLUMP: J.J. Hardy broke his 0-for-15 slump with an RBI single in the sixth inning.
WORLEY HIT: Vance Worley allowed three runs in three innings in his first appearance since coming off the disabled list.
STREAKING THE WRONG WAY: The Orioles lost for the third straight time. It’s their third losing streak of three or more. They’ll try to prevent equaling their season high four-game losing streak on Sunday.
SMITH KILLS THE ORIOLES: Seth Smith has homered in the first three games of the series.
CRUZ KILLS THE ORIOLES: Nelson Cruz hit a three-run home run off Wilson in the first inning. This year, Cruz has two homers and nine RBIs in six games against the team he played on in 2014.
ZUNINO DEBUTS: In his 2016 debut, Mike Zunino who returned to the Mariners when former Oriole Steve Clevenger went on the disabled list, hit a two-run home run. He added another in the sixth following Adam Lind’s homer.
COMING UP: Ubaldo Jimenez (5-7, 6.63) faces Hisashi Iwakuma (7-6, 4.34) on Sunday. Iwakuma pitched a no-hitter against the Orioles in his last start against them last August.
