Apparently, the only thing that can stop a National League Football preseason game is olympic swimming.
Who saw that coming?
Thursday, as Maryland native Michael Phelps swam his way to a 22nd gold medal by winning the 200-meter individual medley, the Ravens made sure nobody would miss the historic moment, not even the opposing Carolina Panthers.
M&T Bank Stadium had the race broadcasted on its jumbotron from the moment Phelps' initially dove into the pool, to the second his fingers tapped the pool wall and sealed his victory.
