During a fan forum at Sunday's open stadium practice at M&T Bank Stadium, owner Steve Bisciotti said his team was discussing bringing in RGIII for a workout.
RGIII recently worked out for the Los Angeles Chargers but didn't land a job. The free agent has been unemployed since he was released from the Browns back in March.
In 2012, Griffin had a standout rookie season with the Redskins, starting 15 games and throwing for 20 touchdowns. He performed OK in 2013, starting 13 games and passing for 16 TDs, but the team let him go after the 2015 season.
Griffin is injury prone - he has suffered a torn ACL, concussion and fractured shoulder, among several other things.
Another controversial name being discussed by the Ravens is Colin Kaepernick. During the fan forum, President Dick Cass said the team has been in direct discussion with the former 49ers QB and has said he wants to play.
