Junior Galette has been running a vigorous social media campaign as of late to prove to the world that his Achilles rehab is going well after he tore the tendon a little under eight months ago. Galette's Twitter timeline is littered with videos and photos of him working out, going through drills and performing various other activities aimed at sending a singular message: He is in fantastic shape.
Perhaps his most convincing piece of evidence, though, was released on Tuesday. When the 28-year-old saw a tweet from John Keim of ESPN in which Ryan Kerrigan is quoted as saying his teammate looks "as explosive as ever," he decided to back up Kerrigan's claim with some visual proof — visual proof that is very compelling, by the way (Warning: someone off camera says an NSFW word halfway through):

Let's be clear here: That is a video of a 6-foot-2, 258 pound pass rusher putting down a windmill with ease. Like, it didn't look like he was fully exerting himself, and that ball didn't scrape the rim on its way through. That jam was gravy for Galette, and he punctuates it by pointing at his healing left foot as if to say, "Yep, everything's fine here."
And, just in case you were wondering, Galette isn't one-dimensional on the court, either; he apparently has a serviceable jumper to go along with his acrobatics around the rim in case you thought about sagging off of him during one-on-one:

A matchup nightmare on the gridiron (and, according to those videos, on the hardwood, too), the Redskins need the seventh-year veteran to be at 100 percent for the regular season. He would raise the caliber of the team's front-seven a few levels, and, for someone who's on a one-year deal, could end up being a slam dunk (wink wink) for Washington in 2016.
